Gantry System
The gantry system is a free standing rail system. Easy to put up and take down. This makes
the system ideal for situations where patient transfers are needed for a limited period of
time. The system doesn’t require any wall or ceiling fi xtures and the four fl oor standing
posts take up minimal fl oor space. The height of the system can be adjusted at initial
set-up and the bottom of the posts provide the means to make the system perfectly level
even on uneven fl oor surfaces.
The gantry system provides most of the same benefi ts as an XY system, providing
unparalleled fl exibility it enables a caregiver to lift a patient from anywhere within the area
of the four posts. Maximum dimensions are 4x4 meters for a maximum weight of 275 kg
(600 lbs) or 3,5x3,5 meter for 350 kg (770 lbs), but both length and width can be cut down
to the required size.
